The attacks on September 11, 2012 in Benghazi, Libya left four Americans dead, including Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens. It was a coordinated attack by anti-American forces.
Although the White House and State Department had knowledge of the attack and means to rescue the Americans, they did nothing. Their actions in the face of a life-or-death situation were reprehensible.
Since the event, the House Benghazi Select Committee has been investigating just what happened. They have been compiling as much data as they can to find out what went wrong and who’s responsible.
Even though many Americans have waited for the truth to come out, there has been a contingency of Democrats who have tried as much as they could to obscure the results.

From the very moment of its inception, Democrat members of the House Benghazi Select Committee have worked to sabotage, subvert and otherwise obstruct the committee’s efforts to discover the truth of what happened that fateful night of Sept. 11, 2012, in Libya.
Now that the committee’s work is drawing near a close after two years, with chairman Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., promising to release a final report soon, the Democrat members are demanding a bigger role in the drafting of the report.
But Gowdy, though “mildly amused” at this latest bid by the Democrats, is not surprised that they would make one last gasp at upending his report. He let them know how he felt in a scathing letter sent this weekend to the top committee Democrat, Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings.
The letter blasts the Democrats for trying to suppress the work of the committee, spending more time writing letters than actually investigating.
If they think they can distort the results of the investigation, though, they have sorely mistaken. Gowdy, known as the Bulldog, plans to release the document in its entirety, allow the American people know exactly what happened on the fateful day.
There has been evidence that suggests then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton refused to send reinforcements to rescue the Americans. The White House had knowledge of the attack and could have acted swiftly to prevent the deaths.
But they did nothing. The full report will be even more damning, especially for the Clinton, who wishes to gain the White House.
“This investigation has uncovered new information that will change how the public views what happened before, during, and after the attacks in Benghazi,” Gowdy wrote. “Despite your best efforts to prevent it from happening, actually talking to eyewitnesses and actually accessing relevant documents has produced new information… It took longer than I wanted, but we are finally going to be able to answer questions left unanswered by previous investigations.”
So all will be made clear and the American people with know the truth.
