Joy Behar, a co-panelist on ABC’s “The View,” on Thursday defended the idea of former Vice President Joe Biden running against President Trump even in his mid-70s, by saying she is Biden’s age and could run if she wanted.
“I will turn myself in, I am Joe Biden’s age. I will not say the number, it gives me vertigo, but I am Joe Biden’s age. I could run for president. I’m perfectly healthy. My brain is working,” Behar said during Thursday’s episode.
Co-host Sunny Hostin added Behar also had “incredible stamina.”
“I have great stamina. I’m good,” Behar agreed.

Biden, 75, last week sought to downplay speculation regarding his presidential ambitions “at this point” during a speaking engagement in London. But the longtime senator told “CBS This Morning,” in an interview that aired Thursday, that age is a “legitimate” concern for voters.
“If I were to run I think they would judge me on my vitality,” Biden said. “Can I still run up the steps of Air Force Two? Am I still in good shape? Do I have all my faculties? Am I energetic? I think it’s totally legitimate that people ask those questions.”
Biden was the clear front-runner last week among possible Democratic 2020 presidential candidates, including Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and controversial lawyer Michael Avenatti, according to a poll conducted by CNN and SSRS. Researchers surveyed 464 Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents in October for findings with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.8 percentage points.
