Yesterday when Joe Biden was campaigning for Kathy Hochul, a woman in the crowd accused Biden of continuing to drill for oil on federal lands.
But Biden responded to her that he’s not allowed any new drilling, saying “No more drilling. There is no more drilling. I haven’t formed any new drilling.”

President Joe Biden made an apparently unscripted remark Sunday night that there will be “no more drilling” under his watch in response to someone in the crowd at his rally with Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY).
The comments came after Biden wrapped up his remarks at the election-themed event, which was intended to boost Hochul’s chances against her challenger, Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY).
“No more drilling,” he said, waving his hand with a back-and-forth motion. “There is no more drilling. I haven’t formed any new drilling.”
The person was holding up a sign that read, “5 more years of drilling is a lose lose!” and could be heard yelling back at Biden about offshore leases. He responded, “That was before I was president. We’re trying to work on that to get that done. Thank you.”
Biden then motioned that the person should write down her name. The two spoke afterward, according to pool reports.
The remarks could prove controversial, as gas prices have risen sharply during Biden’s time in office and some blame his anti-oil policies for contributing to the surge. The average price of a gallon of gas was $2.31 per gallon when Biden took office. It peaked above $5 per gallon this summer and sits at $3.80 now, according to the AAA.
Wasn’t Biden just haranguing oil companies for not drilling enough? But here he is admitting he’s not allowing any new oil drilling.

Biden’s an idiot! He can’t accept responsibility for something he isn’t involved in. The sole reason that fuel costs are so high, is because big oil refuses to build the necessary, 10-20 new refineries required for supply to equal demand. Big oil is scamming, cheating, bilking, and ripping off the consumer. We couldn’t refine another drop of oil if our lives depended on it. Supply is not an issue. We have a years worth of crude either parked off shore, awaiting refinery space, or enroute to the parking lot. Run the numbers yourself! While biden is mishandling everything he touches, it’s all a result of a corrupt, and incompetent support staff.
