Lauren Boebert Just Humiliated Liz Cheney And Her Ridiculous Hollywood Endorsement With A Hilarious, Accurate Tweet

Share this:

For anyone who doubted the level to which Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) is disconnected from the average American, as well as the overwhelming majority of conservatives and/or Republicans, they need not look any further than Cheney’s embracing of a recent Hollywood endorsement.

Cheney is apparently thrilled that actor Kevin Costner has thrown his support behind her candidacy in the GOP Wyoming Primary election in two weeks.

The 56-year-old congresswoman is fighting for her political life, attempting to win a fourth term in office. Thanks to her inexplicable disdain for former President Donald Trump, her continual Democratic hobnobbing on leftwing media outlets, and her leading role on the farcical House January 6th Committee, Ms. Cheney is in serious electoral trouble and is of the opinion that an endorsement from a member of Hollywood’s elite is a good thing. It’s not.

Consider Cheney’s tweet from Monday below:

Because, when your father is a former Vice-President of the United States, and when you grow up living a sheltered life of privilege thanks to daddy’s wealth, the “real men” are the ones we see on TV and on the movie screens. Real men are the ones who agree with us.

Real men are the ones who pretend to be something they are not and earn hundreds of millions of dollars doing it.

Kevin Costner may be a good person, it’s hard to tell. He’s a decent actor and has been successful as a producer and director as well. Additionally, he comes across with a likable personality in his roles, so he obviously has talent.

But why would we consider Mr. Costner to be more genuinely masculine than the next guy? Because he wears cowboy hats? Because he can act tough in front of a camera? If anything, for those reasons we should be even more skeptical of Costner.

Americans have been tired of Hollywood know-it-alls telling us how to vote for years, going back to Jane Fonda, Robert Redford, and Barbara Streisand.

Just because you make more money than us and are blessed with looks and skills for a high-paying industry doesn’t mean we care what you think about government. Just because we listen to your music or watch your movies doesn’t mean we’ll take your political advice.

In fact, for many modern-day Republicans, it means the exact opposite. Any Republican who gains an endorsement from some detached red-carpet luminary is likely to be even more scrutinized by voters than they might have been otherwise. You mean Kevin Costner, the guy who plays make-believe for a living and makes a fortune doing so thinks you’re a good candidate? Hmm.

As is often the case, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), who has become the anti-Cheney, had a spot-on opinion and let it loose on Twitter. Her take is simply brilliant.

Short and sweet, to the point, and perfectly stated. Well done, congresswoman!

At this point, we have to wonder whether Liz Cheney is already looking past this year’s elections. She’s been trailing her primary opponent Harriet Hageman by over twenty points, and this latest endorsement by Costner isn’t going to help.

Rumors have suggested she may be considering a presidential run in two years, let’s hope she does because that move would be pure gold for Republicans.

Perhaps she’s looking at monetizing her Hollywood contacts once she’s unemployed in January. Or, perhaps she’s considering switching parties. We can only wonder what Liz Cheney is thinking, or if she’s thinking at all.

I was just going to make a post about Yellowstone myself. Obviously Costner has not leaned a thing. I am beginning to think actors can not get out of their own heads or else they are all scientologist .

J6 is a fake courtroom trial scene. I’d like to see comedic conservatives do a mock trial of key Democrats and the two RINOS Pelosi picked for her kangaroo court. We need to LAUGH and laugh heartily. Liberals can’t stand righteous laughter.

I like Kevin Costner but he doesn’t speak for me nor does he influence me. But we all know about Liz Cheney by her actions. Liz Cheney is not one of my favorites! I hope Kevin Costner wakes up to that female clown! His support for Liz Cheney is going to be his downfall!

I love the show Yellowstone-and yes it is make believe like most Movies..a thought, Kevin’s character in the show has had many many people murdered. Ya I love the show but how does that character reflect on him being a man’s man. My father could ride his butt into the ground and had principles to boot. Now that is a Man’s Man.
