Nikole Hannah-Jones is a very talented woman. But not in the way she thinks or has fooled other libs into believing. She’s talented at beclowning herself, and the clip below is a master class on that skill.
The 1619 Project creator and author has been lecturing America on her idea of what happened in history, and wants those musings made mandatory for kids across America, despite being riddled with plain fact errors and terrible reasoning.
Errors of fact and bad reasoning are her primary currency and she spends a fortune in them on this clip, in which she says that parents shouldn’t have a say in what their kids are taught and admits her own lack of expertise.
Nikole Hannah-Jones: Parents shouldn’t be in charge of their kids’ schooling: “I don’t really understand this idea that parents should decide what’s being taught. I’m not a professional educator. I don’t have a degree in social studies.” Yet she wants the 1619 Project in schools. pic.twitter.com/UAjFTCvVmg

“WE SHOULD LISTEN TO EXPERTS LIKE ME AND ALSO I’M NOT ONE.”
Genius argument, lady.
Nobody said parents should be writing the curriculum, we said they should have a say when their kids are being taught something wrong or immoral or exposed to something obscene or racist.
And you just admitted you’re not an expert, meaning you’re a fraud by your own standards and should shut up anyway. Twice. Two self-owns.
Perfect.
