Kamala’s Plummeting Poll Numbers Lead to Deepening Rift w/ Biden Camp

“Nearly three dozen former and current” White House insiders report widespread dysfunction in the formerly “simpatico” relationship between President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, according to a bombshell article published at CNN.

The fallout forced several Biden administration officials, including press secretary Jen Psaki and chief of staff Ron Klain to leap into damage mode, reflexively denying there was any sort of crisis as they have with nearly every other crisis within the disaster-prone administration..

The “complex reality inside the White House” suggests that the Vice President, though she is currently “a heartbeat away from the presidency,” is not being properly prepared to succeed President Biden in the event that the 79-year-old does not run for office again in 2024.

Harris’s rivals in the Democratic party are “privately” hoping that she will “falter,” and her supporters are growing “frantic” as they attempt to explain away the manifest inadequacies of a politician who dropped out of the 2020 Democratic primary after winning exactly zero delegates.

Kamala’s camp is worried enough about Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, for example, that according to CNN they’ve implied there are racial undertones to the White House’s support for Mayor Pete’s “unannounced paid parental leave” during the supply chain crisis.

A former aide told CNN that “it’s hard to miss the specific energy that the White House brings to defend a White man, knowing that Kamala Harris has spent almost a year taking a lot of the hits that the West Wing didn’t want to take themselves.”

Harris, whose approval rating sits at a dismal 28%, strains under the “historic” weight of “being the first woman, and first woman of color in national elected office,” say reporters Edward-Isaac Dovere and Jasmine Wright, though this distinction is also said to give her a “quiet force” by which she “focuses attention on different issues sometimes just by her very presence in the room.”

The Vice President’s own staff “fears” that Harris relies too much on her family, that she is “leaning heavily on her sister Maya Harris, brother-in-law Tony West and niece Meena Harris, whom they sense exerting influence over everything from staff hires to political decisions.”
