The Supreme Court announced this morning that it has agreed to hear a major abortion case that could overturn Roe v. Wade’s disastrous decision:
“BREAKING: The Supreme Court agrees to take up a major abortion case that will give the court an opportunity to reconsider Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey. The case involves the constitutionality of Mississippi’s ban on most abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy.”

From the mouths of Stern to the ears of God. Although, as a Slate staff writer, his tweet is almost certainly a lament rather than a hope.
And I think we have reason to believe that the new Supreme Court will put an end to Roe v. Wade. I understand that the justices do not always rule in our favor, and this could happen here. But I think there’s a good chance this court will do it, and I’m hoping it happens in this Missouri case.
Remember that the acrimonious battle over Kavanaugh was primarily about abortion. The left’s greatest fear is the end of Roe v. Wade, which is why Democratic states like New York strengthened their abortion laws after Kavanaugh was appointed to the Supreme Court.
I just hope that these newer justices don’t succumb to Democratic pressure, as Roberts did with Obamacare, to destroy the Supreme Court by adding more seats to it. Because if they overturn Roe v. Wade, Democrats will send a message to these justices that more seats will be added to the court.
