The COVID-19 pandemic is the gift the keeps on giving for Democrats seeking to cash in on the viral outbreak for every bit of power and political influence it can wring from it.
On Tuesday, Democrats Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer discussed a new funeral aid program that would allow posthumous deaths to be recategorized as ‘may have’ died from COVID. If you read between the lines, this means that the ultimate goal is to inflate the COVID death toll. And to incentivize this, they are bribing families with massive $9,000 checks.
“And so I’m very excited to say that — that today is the day, the hotline is open, and because the hotline is open you can call in to FEMA and you can start this process today,” she went on. “Now we know here in New York how tough those early days were. We couldn’t even get tests here early on. It was something that was for celebrities and the privileged in those very early days, and so we have been — Senator Schumer and I have been working with FEMA, we’ve been on the phone trying to get as flexible and accommodating circumstances as possible.”
“So here’s what families need to know,” she went on. “Your loved one should have Covid on their death certificate. Anywhere listed on their death certificate, either as the primary or contributing cause of death. In those early days though we know that so many people — we didn’t know what was Covid and what wasn’t — and so there are several options available here, one is that we can go back to the institution that issued the death certificate, the hospital, the physician, etc., and you can have your death certificate added in retrospect knowing what we know now about COVID.”
“So if your — if your — if your loved ones’ death certificate does not have COVID listed you can have it put in,” she said.
“And in the future — since September they’ve been listing COVID, but the problem as the congresswoman said in the early days they didn’t even know what COVID was so they didn’t list it and we’re working to get that corrected,” Senator Schumer added.
“Yeah, so you can go to your institution and have it edited or in your conversations with FEMA. FEMA — we’re also in conversations with FEMA to see what adequate flexibility that we can add there,” she continued.
The FEMA program would dish out $9,000 per deceased individual and a maximum $35,500 per individual application.
“The death certificate must indicate the death ‘may have been caused by’ or ‘was likely the result of’ COVID-19 or COVID-19-like symptoms,” the FEMA website stipulates. “Similar phrases that indicate a high likelihood of COVID-19 are considered sufficient attribution.”
The death “must have occurred in the United States, including the U.S. territories, and the District of Columbia; the death certificate must indicate the death was attributed to COVID-19 and the applicant must be a U.S. citizen, non-citizen national, or a qualified non-citizen who incurred funeral expenses after Jan. 20, 2020,” according to FEMA requirements.
One of the most controversial aspects of the law: A death does not even have to been by a U.S. citizen. It can be a non-citizen, Just the News pointed out.
“This is one of the first programs … that will allow mixed status and undocumented families to get some semblance of relief after feeding this country, after cleaning our schools, after serving and holding up this community,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “This community got nothing in relief, very little. I am so proud of the tireless work and pushing that it took to make sure that up to $9,000 of relief will now be available to almost every family in this country.”
The State of New York recently passed a new budget with major tax increases that cuts one-time $15,600 checks for illegal immigrants who lost work due to the state’s lockdowns. That is ten times the amount given to Americans in the last round of stimulus sent out by the Biden administration.
According to the CDC, the reported “COVID deaths” in the U.S. media are not determined to be those caused by the virus. The recorded cases list 94% of all deaths having serious comorbidities. The average age of COVID-related death is 78.6 years old, which is the average life expectancy.
The current count is 563,000 deaths with COVID. The Democrats’ plan is to inflate that ambiguous number even higher by incentivizing Americans to label the deaths as “may have” had COVID in exchange for thousands in taxpayer dollars.
