Hunter Biden admitted in an interview with CBS News that when he was addicted to cocaine he smoked parmesan cheese because it resembled the drug.
He recalled in the interview how he would search through carpets trying to find traces of the drug, but would sometimes find parmesan cheese instead.
“I spent more time on my hands and needs picking through rugs, smoking anything that even remotely resembled crack cocaine,” Biden said. “I probably smoked more parmesan cheese than anyone.”
In his book to be released April 6, “Beautiful Things,” Biden said that once he was unsure if he smoked crack cocaine or parmesan cheese:
“It didn’t matter: I smoked it. If it was crack, great. If it wasn’t, I’d take a hit, exhale, and exclaim, “S—, that’s not it – that’s the f—— cheese!”
He also said in his book that he would smoke cheddar popcorn that had fallen on the floor of his car, mistaking it for parmesan cheese: “Again, the crack crumbs were often indistinguishable from the spilled snacks. Safe to say I’ve smoked more cheddar popcorn than anybody on the face of the earth.”
