On Sunday Morning Futures, Maria Bartiromo opened by saying that the show had sent a photographer along with 19 senators to the border to witness the impact of Biden’s border policies, and that photographer was BANNED by the administration. And worse, that the senators themselves were “hassled” for taking cell phone photos and video. And then showed the stunning video of a Biden operative PREVENTING documentation of the conditions at one of the many facilities in Texas that are several hundred percent over capacity with migrants, particularly unaccompanied migrant CHILDREN.
Here’s the clip that Cruz shared, via Twitter because it’s not on PARLER.
You will surely remember that when children were in these same facilities a year or two ago, they were called CONCENTRATION OR INTERNMENT OR PRISON CAMPS by Democrats and the press.
What do you call them now, hypocrites? Now that there is even LESS press access under Biden?
Cruz talked about all this and more with Bartiromo in an interview that ran about 11 minutes or so, and was worth every second.
One point of note: Covid.
“The Donna facility where that video you just showed was taken, the Donna facility is this giant tent city that they’ve built. It’s massive. It’s designed to hold a thousand people but under Covid restrictions, its capacity is 250. It right now has over 4,000 people in it. It is at a 1,500% capacity and that meant you saw in these cages children, little boys and little girls, side by side, they’re not 6-feet apart,” Cruz said at one point.
So much for social distancing, right?
“In that facility, children are testing positive for Covid at roughly a 10% rate,” he added. “They’re locking them in these cages, where Covid in a pandemic is real risk. It’s inhumane, it’s unconscionable, and it’s the direct result of the political decisions that Joe Biden has made.”
At the end of the clip, they talk about the election reform bill. But that’s not an unrelated topic, as Cruz explains.
“HR1 is actually directly connected to this border crisis,” he said. “It’s their number one priority to keep democrats in power for the next hundred years. And one of the most dangerous things that the corrupt politicians act does is it automatically registers everyone to vote if they interact with the government.”
“They know that will automatically register millions of illegal aliens,” he said. “That is the intended purpose of the bill.”
