If the Democrats expected President Trump politely sit and watch the Biden inauguration after the years of hate they lobbed at him, they were wrong.
In a tweet posted Friday, President Donald Trump says he “will not be going to the Inauguration on January 20th.” Trump conceded the election in a video message to followers on Thursday and “ensured a smooth, orderly, and seamless transition.”
And why would he? The President has been treated worse by the Democrats than possibly any President in American history. They have lobbed baseless attacks at him on every turn, including calling him a racist, a sexist
They are currently attempting to impeach him a second time with the false claim that he somehow “encouraged” violent riots in the Capitol even after he posted a video calling for peace.
So why should he attend an inauguration for a party that has demonized him for his entire tenure? He shouldn’t. And good for you, Mr. President.
According to reports, Vice President Mike Pence will be attending the ceremony.
It’s not clear where Trump plans to be that day although it has been speculated that he will travel to Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.
