Hunter Biden’s emails must be true, because Joe Biden has officially retreated to his bunker basement. The Democratic Presidential nominee has locked the door and refused to make any appearances or talk to media until his next scheduled debate on Oct. 22.
In stark contrast President Donald Trump has been going all in, the last weeks before the election, campaigning everywhere. On Saturday, he literally was in three battleground states campaigning, all in one day.
Now that the allegations about Joe Biden and his son have burgeoned into a full-blown scandal, suddenly Biden is hiding using the excuse that he’s “debate prepping.”
CBS Political Correspondent Ed O’Keefe explained that Biden wouldn’t be seen, according to Townhall.
“This week is mostly about debate prep. He will not be seen again after today until Thursday night in Nashville at that next debate. So they’re going to keep him focused on that. That’s a signal that they believe this is still a very big opportunity for them to provide one last contrast with the president and they have to prepare him for potential attacks from the president,” he explained.
No one thinks he’s going into hiding for “debate prep.” Biden has actually had a really easy time of it, with the moderators seemingly biased in his favor and against the president. This next moderator may be the worst yet. As we reported, Kristen Welker has deep Democratic ties. When she was announced as the moderator, she immediately deactivated her Twitter account because it was littered with anti-Trump posts. Welker even was caught on a hot mic telling a Clinton operative what question she was about to ask her on air (without realizing people could hear her say that).
