President Trump Checks Into Walter Reed Out Of An ‘Abundance of CAUTION’

When you get sick you do what’s necessary to get better. If it’s something mild you may try and push through, taking over the counter meds maybe, or drink some hot tea and rest. With a more serious illness, it wouldn’t be unexpected to pay a visit to your doctor to get checked out.

News broke earlier today that President Donald Trump had tested positive for Covid-19. Later in the day though, Kayleigh McEnany announced that the President had a low-grade fever and other mild symptoms associated with the Covid-19 China virus and was being checked in to the Walter Reed Medical Center for observation out of “an abundance of caution”.

“Out of an abundance of caution, and at the recommendation of his physician and medical experts, the President will be working from the presidential offices at Walter Reed for the next few days,” says McEnany. “President Trump appreciates the outpouring of support for both he and the First Lady.”

This is obviously an appropriate measure. Whatever anyone’s political beliefs about Trump, OR about the China virus, it’s the proper thing to do with the damn PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. The leader of the free world can’t be left to chance to battle any sort of respiratory illness that could put him out of commission, especially with an election on the horizon.

“President Trump remains in good spirts, has mild symptoms, and has been working throughout the day,” McEnany told reporters today. She also shared the latest update from the President’s physician earlier this afternoon.

It won’t take long for the liberal media to try and spin this to their advantage, however. So when reports come out that “Trump is dying” or “The President was evacuated”, just refer back to this footage of him walking out to Marine One calm, cool, and collected to fly off to Walter Reed:
