Well that didn’t take long. Despite all the horrible things that happened at the moronic CHAZ CHOP camp, prosecutors will not be pressing charges against the protesters arrested:
This is a little surprising to me since the mayor really did unleash the police to beat down those hippies, obliterate their camp, and arrest whoever got in the way. I guess it was all for show. But, in another way, I am not surprised at all of course.
I mean why even arrest them at this point:
It has been two days since the Capitol Hill Organized Protest (CHOP) zone was shut down, but protesters continue to clash with Seattle police.
Ten people were arrested between 10 p.m. Thursday and into early Friday morning for property destruction, assault, harassment, and failure to disperse.
Police report bottles, rock, and fireworks were thrown at them during the night.
Very peaceful.
