He’s been accused of leaking classified material. He’s been accused of coordinating with media allies to orchestrate a smear campaign. He falsely claimed – for two years – to be in possession of “damning” smoking-gun evidence that proved President Trump colluded with Russia.
Now, it appears Adam Schiff is getting very, very, nervous.
On Wednesday, Schiff was interviewed by MSNBC’s Ari Melber. Almost immediately, he attacked Attorney General Barr, saying he was acting as the president’s “personal attorney” and didn’t deserve his job or his title:
Now, we may know why Schiff is so hostile toward the AG.
Earlier today, Dan told you about the president’s order authorizing Barr to declassify any and all material relating to the origins of the “Russian collusion” witch hunt. That means we’re going to learn a lot about James Comey, John Brennan and James Clapper. We may finally see the details surrounding the infamous FISA warrant, the Carter Page wiretap, the Steele dossier, the Comey/Lynch blame game, the Strzok and Page texts, and possibly even the Clinton investigation and the tarmac meeting.

In the immortal words of Joe Biden, “it’s a big f***ing deal” to anyone who’d like to know exactly what went down prior to, during and after the 2016 election.
To say that Trump’s order has spooked Adam Schiff would be an understatement. He took to Twitter, where he railed against the declassification order, and pushed Pelosi’s “cover-up” line. According to everyone’s least favorite congressman, such transparency is nothing more than an effort to “weaponize law enforcement and classified information.” It’s also apparently “un-American” to let Americans see what the American government has been up to.
While Trump stonewalls the public from learning the truth about his obstruction of justice,
Trump and Barr conspire to weaponize law enforcement and classified information against their political enemies.
The coverup has entered a new and dangerous phase.

Considering that Schiff has already been accused of using classified material to push his agenda, that should strike you as a fair bit of projection. It also sounds like the kind of freakout you’d expect from a man who can see the walls closing in.
Remember: The panic is real. None of this was ever supposed to come to light and, if Hillary had won, it never would have.
