The suspected Columbine massacre-obsessed teen who was wanted in the state of Colorado for threatening schools in the Denver area is dead according to a CBS Denver report.

Sol Pais, 18, was found Wednesday morning close to the Echo Lake Lodge in Mount Evans.

Pais was the subject of a massive manhunt after she boarded a plane for Denver and purchased a shotgun and ammunition upon her arrival. Multiple Denver area schools were forced to shut down, but the Denver FBI office announced there was no longer a threat in a tweet just before noon Wednesday.

Police believe Pais took an Uber to the Echo Lake area near the base of Mount Evans. She was found dead several hundred feet from the lake.

A woman hiking in the area Pais was found told CBS Denver she was forced to leave because “a naked woman matching the description with a gun was spotted in the area running through the woods.”

According to the report, 20 to 30 armed police officers including a SWAT team swarmed the Echo Lake Campground during an extensive search for Pais.

Pais, originally from Florida, was reportedly “infatuated with the perpetrators of Columbine.” Authorities say she made concerning comments about the massacre, though they didn’t say what her exact comments were. Police also didn’t indicate whether she made the comments before or after purchasing the gun.

The FBI and Jefferson County Sheriff’s office led the investigation into Pais.

“We want our schools to be a safe place for kids to learn and where they can be productive. And that’s why we take this threat seriously today,” Jefferson County Sheriff Jeff Shrader said.

Over 20 schools, including Columbine, shut down during the manhunt.

In a journal believed to belong to Pais, obtained by NBC News, she allegedly made entries referencing her desire to obtain firearms and drawings of one of the Columbine gunmen, Dylan Klebold.

“Had a dream last night about the future and it was eye opening. Was only a week away from the day and I had my [expletive] shotgun…”  she allegedly wrote in an entry that possibly referenced the anniversary of the Columbine shooting.

According to NBC News, Pais describes feeling alienated and suicidal in the journal entries.
