The liberal media just cannot stand it when someone from the right is allowed to ask questions of the president at these press conferences.
Today, Trump called on Daily Caller reporter Saagar Enjeti during his press conference with Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro. Enjeti asked two questions of Trump and one of Bolsonaro.
After the press conference crotchety old Jim Acosta criticized Enjeti while on-air with CNN, saying Enjeti did nothing but serve up a softball to Trump:

First things first. The question about Democrats and socialism was not asked of President Trump. Enjeti asked that question of President Bolsonaro, who then answered it. Trump never addressed it himself. Maybe Acosta had some cotton in his ears or something, but he clearly wasn’t paying attention.
Secondly, the two questions Enjeti asked Trump were 1) if Trump supports the Democratic idea of expanding the Supreme Court and 2) if Trump supports Senator Josh Hawley’s idea that social media companies need to be held liable for the content that is on their platform. I didn’t think either of those were ‘tee-balls’ like Acosta suggested about the last question.
As I alluded to above, I really think this is just the liberal media hating to see a reporter from a conservative outlet get to ask questions from the president on what they feel is their turf. The new media is here and people like Acosta really need to get over it. If not, we can always call him a waaaambulance to deal with this hurt feelings.
