UNREAL: Family Sues Planned Parenthood For CHILD SUPPORT After Abortion Fail

An Idaho couple has slapped abortion conglomerate Planned Parenthood with a child support lawsuit for failing to kill their baby, Fox News reports.

The couple claims that Planned Parenthood “deceived” them and now wants the agency to pay for the costs of raising “an additional unplanned child.”

“Biana Coons, who was six weeks pregnant with her son, traveled 700 miles with her partner, Cristobal Ruiz, to a Planned Parenthood in Albuquerque, New Mexico in February 2016 to avoid the mandatory waiting period in her home state,” reports Fox News. “The couple, which already had two children, didn’t want another one.”

Planned Parenthood gave Coons a drug-induced abortion via the “abortion pill,” but the child survived. Since Coons could not afford a follow-up procedure, she gave birth to the child. Planned Parenthood warned her, however, that the pill could cause birth defects. More from Fox News:

The couple was “deceived into thinking that they could come to New Mexico and initiate the [medication abortion] and then return to Idaho without losing access to ‘Planned Parenthood Services,’” but the abortion provider allegedly told them they needed to return to New Mexico and get it done free of charge or find another office in Idaho and pay, as each Planned Parenthood operates as a separate business.

Instead, Coons gave birth to a “jaundiced and ill” baby boy, now 2, in August of that year — one month early.

The lawsuit further claims that Planned Parenthood failed to “properly supervise and administer the abortion service[, which] directly resulted in the failure of the pregnancy termination[,] which resulted in injury to plaintiffs’ interests in family planning and their interests in financial planning for the future of their family.”

On its website, Planned Parenthood claims that the “abortion pill” is a safe and effective way to end an early pregnancy.

“Medication abortion — also called the abortion pill — is a safe and effective way to end an early pregnancy,” Planned Parenthood says. “This medicine causes cramping and bleeding to empty your uterus. It’s kind of like having a really heavy, crampy period, and the process is very similar to an early miscarriage.”

As ridiculous as the lawsuit may sound to some, they have become increasingly commonplace in recent years. The wildest case occurred in Italy in 2015, when the couple’s daughter publicly supported her parents’ lawsuit against the doctor who failed to abort her.

Most recently, as the Trump administration has stepped up its rhetoric against late-term abortion, outlets like HuffPost have published anecdotal propaganda stories about women who wish they had aborted their child or are glad to have undergone one.

Next week, the U.S. Senate will vote on the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act designed to protect children born alive during an abortion procedure. U.S. Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE), sponsor of the bill, said the vote will force senators who claim to fight for the little to put their money where their mouth is.

“A lot of senators spend a lot of time telling people how they fight for the little guy. Well, here’s the chance for them to prove it,” Sasse said. “We’re going to have a vote on the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act and everyone is going to have to put their name by their vote.”

“It’s cowardly for a politician to say they’ll fight for the little guy but only if the little guy isn’t an actual 7-pound baby who’s fighting for life. It shouldn’t be hard to protect newborn babies — let’s pass this legislation,” he said.
