Mark Hamill Gets EATEN ALIVE After Saying ‘Let Women’ Run The Government Completely

Even though women are fully capable of the same darkness and evil as men, “Star Wars” icon Mark Hamill is saying the time has come for women to “take charge completely” of government.

Speaking from his Twitter account, Hamill posted a photo of himself with several recently elected Democrat women to Congress, Democratic Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez chief among them.

“For centuries, men have had their chance to rule government with middling-to-poor results,” Hamill wrote. “Who’s ready to let women take charge completely? Just women. I know I am.”

People quickly roasted him on Twitter for the simplistic, historically ignorant, and inherently sexist statement.

“This is just ridiculous. Leaders are leaders, regardless of their sex, race, sexual orientation, religion, height, weight, hair color, etc,” said actor Dean Cain. “Limiting it in any way is/was/will always be ridiculous (and yes, I know the history).”

DC McAllister of The Federalist noted the many contributions men have given to history while also pointing out the fact that the women who have run governments are often just as brutal as the men.

“Middling-to-poor results? Men found the cure to countless diseases,” she said. “Men built civilizations, created art, made scientific discoveries. Men explored space and ushered in a modern world of freedom. Is it utopia? No, but if you think women can do better, you’re deluded.”

She continued: “First, Bloody Mary. Second, under Elizabeth’s reign despite improvement in culture the poor got poorer. She was ruthless, cruel at times, tortured her enemies, extremely vain. Her ministers constantly had to manage things because she was indecisive and frittered away her time.”

Other Twitter users shared their life experiences with women in leadership, asserting that they could be just as incompetent as the men above them.

“I was working in a store in which the majority of staff were and are woman,” said one man. “Once in positions of power those women, whatever their reasons for doing so, maintained the bad practices of past managers, in fact one woman was more a tyrant than the worst of the men!”

“In fact exactly two managers remained true to whom they were before being promoted,” he continued. “In the end, I imagine they may succumb to corporate lack of ethics, that is the corporation claiming ethics but not upholding them: Respect for the individual for example!”

Hamill has remained largely apolitical most of his career and did not start being such a full-throated leftist until the 2016 election, during which he came back onto the scene to play Luke Skywalker once again for the “Star Wars” reboots.

“I’m in total denial,” Hamill told The Daily Beast in 2016. “I’m glad I have [the show] to take my mind off what’s going on. Because if you look at what’s being assembled for our government it’s like, yikes. It’s a who’s-who of really despicable people.”

“It’s tempting to say, ‘Well, I’m moving to Canada, I can’t stand it,'” he continued. “But in other ways, it’s a challenge to stay and defend your country and do what you think is right and not retreat and hide under the covers. It’s not gonna be easy, that’s for sure.”

“It is frightening. As the recent election showed us, you realize that you’re probably in a minority when you thought you were in the majority in terms of what you consider normal and okay … But it’s like a drop in the ocean. You do what you can and keep your fingers crossed. I always say [to those kids], hang in there, it gets much better. You won’t believe the difference when you move out of Oklahoma and to New York.”
