President Trump took to Twitter to BLAST Robert Mueller’s “witch-hunt,” again, this time in regards to the absurd jail sentence of 14-days, that was just doled out to former Trump campaign aid George Papadopoulos.
Trump pointed out the flimsy (NO COLLUSION) sentence and then did the math, showing America exactly what a waste of time and money this Deep State witch-hunt truly is.
President Donald Trump mocked special counsel Robert Mueller after George Papadopoulos’s 14-day jail sentence was announced Friday.
14 days for $28 MILLION – $2 MILLION a day, No Collusion. A great day for America!

The president tweeted, “14 days for $28 MILLION – $2 MILLION a day, No Collusion. A great day for America!”
Papadopoulos was sentenced to serve two weeks in jail for lying to the FBI about his relationship with a European professor with links to the Russian government. The special counsel was looking for a sentence of anywhere from no jail time to six months. The judge also ordered a year of supervision, 200 hours of community service and a $9,500 fine for the former Trump aide.
While it’s unclear where Trump got the $28 million number, he did tweet that the Mueller investigation had cost $20 million back in May. The Department of Justice has reported that the special counsel’s office has spent $7.7 million, and that the DOJ has spent around $17 million on the Russia investigation.
