We may have a Clinton vying for the White House again in a few years, but it’s not the one you’re thinking.
Chelsea Clinton is open to a career in politics like her parents before her.

“For me it’s a definite no now, but it’s a definite maybe in the future because who knows what the future is going to bring?” Clinton said during an appearance at the Edinburgh International Book Festival when asked about the prospect of a run for public office, according to the Press Association.
Clinton, who works with former President Bill Clinton and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton at the family’s humanitarian foundation, is in the United Kingdom to promote her children’s book, “She Persisted.”
Making a decision to embark in a campaign would be guided by whether it was the right time and opportunity, she told the crowd.
“At [the] federal level, as much as I abhor so much of what President Trump is doing, I have a great amount of gratitude for what my congresswoman and my senators are doing to try to stop him at every point,’ Clinton said, referring to her home state of New York’s congressional delegation.
“While I disagree with the president, other offices that I could run for I think my family … is being really well represented,” she continued. “But if that were to change, if my city councilor were to retire, if my congresswoman were to retire, my senators, and I thought that I could make a positive impact, then I think I would really have to ask my answer to that question.”
Clinton also condemned the separation of illegal immigrant minors from their parents or guardians at the U.S. border that took place under the Trump administration’s hardline immigration policy as “the greatest sin of the moment in our country.”
