ABC cancelled “Roseanne” on Tuesday afternoon after Roseanne Barr went on a racially charged Twitter rant Tuesday morning.
Just hours after Roseanne tweeted — then apologized — for calling George Soros a “Nazi” and saying Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett was a mixture between the Muslim Brotherhood and Planet Of The Apes, ABC made the decision to cancel the network’s number one show.

You’d be hard pressed to find a celebrity without an opinion about “Roseanne’s” cancellation. Here’s a collection of some of the most interesting tweets so far.
The reason that @ABC and @Starbucks responded as they did to racist incidents is because they have powerful black women executuves in the room at the top. Inclusion matters! #Roseanne #Starbucks

Roseanne Barr loses her job. Entire innocent cast and crew loses their gigs too. Discuss.

Just take a moment to observe all the things Roseanne had to do to get canceled:
– Call Valerie Jarrett an ape
– accuse dems child sex trafficking
– tell Hillary Clinton to commit suicide
– accuse Chelsea Clinton of being part of a Jewish conspiracy
– call George Soros a Nazi— Travon Free (@Travon) May 29, 2018
So Roseanne referencing a movie title is racist. Lying dishonest soulless freaks from Planet of the Apes

The whole Roseanne debacle just goes to show you can’t keep your job if you’re a hard-core racist.
Unless you’re the President.

Hey @ABCNetwork how come you didn’t cancel @jimmykimmel when he made racist jokes about our @FLOTUS ? But you are willing to cancel @therealroseanne for the same thing? Hmmm guess men still run Hollywood

Has Fox picked up “Roseanne” yet?

Roseanne Barred.

I slam networks all the time, and you can think what you like about Roseanne, or ABC’s ever airing the show. But they just made a decision to cancel their highest-rated show for its star’s racist comment, and that is worth noting.

Thank you, @ABCNetwork. You did the right thing. There is not any room in our society for racism or bigotry.

bummed about roseanne being cancelled. the show really gave a voice to those who already had a voice

So @KeithOlbermann can call @realDonaldTrump a Nazi, psychopathic white supremacist, which are indisputably dumb things to Tweet, & get hired by @espn and @therealroseanne gets fired for her indisputably dumb Tweets. Almost like there’s a double standard at play here.

Roseanne Barr has not yet commented on the show’s cancellation. The actress announced she would be leaving Twitter on Tuesday morning after backlash mounted against her.
