The articles first paragraph says it all…

“WASHINGTON — As the midterm elections approach, Russia is likely to throw more propaganda at Americans, using people sympathetic to their messages and fake personalities on social media — many of them run by bots — to sow further political and social divisions in the United States, American intelligence chiefs said on Tuesday.” –via the NY Times (emphasis is mine)

I made my case in the article I wrote yesterday about my long held conviction that there is an unholy alliance with domestic enemies either by design, or accident being complicit in a “collusion” with Russian interests, bound by a shared goal in the political assassination and elimination of President Trump. Our top Intelligence Official also went on to say this in that regard:

““There should be no doubt that Russia perceives its past efforts as successful and views the 2018 U.S. midterm elections as a potential target for Russian influence operations,” said Dan Coats, the director of national intelligence.” -via The N.Y. Times

“Mr. Coats was joined at the hearing by the leaders of the Central Intelligence Agency, the National Security Agency, the F.B.I. and other intelligence agencies.” –via The N.Y. Times

“Russian hackers are already scanning American electoral systems, intelligence officials have said, and using bot armies to promote partisan causes on social media. Russia also appears eager to spread information — real and fake — that deepens political divisions, including purported evidence that ties Mr. Trump to Russia, and its efforts to influence the 2016 election. –via The N.Y. Times

“We expect Russia to continue using propaganda, social media, false-flag personas, sympathetic spokespeople, and other means of influence to try to exacerbate social and political fissures in the United States,” Mr. Coats said.-via The N.Y. Times

It would seem our intelligence agencies are taking the “Deszinformatsia” efforts by Russia seriously and are now acting to thwart them.

One can only hope that other participants within the Media and Political opposition will come to their senses as well, realizing they have been played as pawns in a Russian Intelligence Chess game.  Perhaps two front page N.Y. Times articles in four days time confirming Russian efforts to sabotage Trump, and our American society by pitting us against one another, is a sign of change.

The NY Times, likely have seen this false narrative advanced for so long with all the failed efforts to produce one single iota of evidence implicating Trump of any wrong doing, or collusion pale by comparison to the real and mounting evidence that Trump is the target of Russian and other allied collusion and effort; not a party to them.

It is high time given our Intel Chiefs warning if they didn’t know they were unknowing participants with Russia’s aims, they know it now. It is time the Corporate Media, and Democratic Party leadership wake up and put aside their partisan hatred against President Trump, and understand the danger to America in being allied and collusive, in a now exposed, and active propaganda campaign by President Putin furthering his goals and aims; against their own President and America.
