‘Dirty Spitzer’ Goes POSTAL After He Threatens Man In NY Restaurant

Eliot Spitzer, who was forced to resign his seat as New York’s governor after only a year in office, is now being accused of threatening to stab a man in his private parts during an argument at a posh Manhattan restaurant.

It was reported that Spitzer became incensed when he heard someone at Avra Madison Estiatorio, a restaurant on 60th Street near 5th Avenue, praise long time Spitzer rival, philanthropist Kenneth Langone, the New York Daily News said.

The ex-gov., ridiculed as “client number 9” in the prostitution scandal that led to his 2008 downfall, reportedly “lost his mind” according to witness Jamie Antolini.

Antolini claims Spitzer yelled, “I’m going to f–king stab you with a f–king knife in the c–k,” after the man praised Langone.

Spitzer was reportedly not part of Antolini’s dining party but was simply walking past the table when he overheard the discussion about Langone.

“All I said was, ‘Ken Langone would have been the best President ever,’” Antolini told the paper.

After overhearing the comment, Antolini claimed that Spitzer jumped into a spirited debate about Langone that got increasingly heated and lasted up to 20 minutes. Antolini also claims there is cell phone video of the argument.

Spitzer’s alleged threat seemed to be simple bravado as he reportedly made no move to threaten anyone physically. Also, no police report was filed over the threat.

Spitzer was eventually ejected by restaurant staff because of the disruptive argument.

“This guy’s got issues, real problems,” Antolini insisted.

A spokesperson for Spitzer blamed the rising temperature of the argument on Antolini. “The patron persisted in making aggressive remarks, which Mr. Spitzer initially ignored. An argument ensued, but at no time did he make any threats,” Spitzer spokesperson Lisa Linden told the press.

The incident in the restaurant is not the first time Spitzer has been accused of threatening someone. Only last week the ex-gov. was accused of threatening to kill a Russian escort he is rumored to have paid for “companionship.”

Escort Svetlana Travis Zakharova reportedly delivered an audio recording to the New York Police Department as proof that Spitzer threatened to kill her.
