A group of Trump supporters probably couldn’t have imagined how their day would end after coming out to greet the President.
A group who call themselves the ‘Trump Squad’ met on Southern Blvd., along the route to the Winter White House in Palm Beach, to support Donald Trump when they heard his motorcade would be passing through. The president spotted the group of about 16 supporters who were waving flags and wearing pro-Trump gear as his entourage sped by.
About twenty minutes later, Donald Tarca Jr. told Steve Doocy on Fox News Channel’s Fox & Friends that a white van pulled up with Secret Service agents.
“They brought us in, to Mar-a-Lago,” Tarca recalled of the “great day.”
Tarca called the surprise invitation to join Trump at his famous estate a “mind-blowing” experience. He said Trump was kind and gracious, and offered to take group and individual pictures with his new guests.
“He was so nice, and it was so comfortable to talk to him,” Tarca said. “It really was like talking to an uncle you’ve known forever.”
Tarca said the “Trump Squad” is made up of people from all political backgrounds who support the president and reject identity politics. He said he told Trump about losing his job with Motorola and shared with the president how the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) had negatively impacted him.
“I was honored that the president, the most powerful man in the world, noticed us and invited us back. It was mind-blowing, and it was a day that this ‘deplorable’ will never forget, that We the People do matter.”
