Who would have thought that marijuana would be legal for not only medicinal purposes, but also for recreational use, in numerous states across the country? Now employers are coming under intense pressure to “get with the times” and accept marijuana usage. In states where pot has been legalized companies are finding themselves under intense pressure to stop “discriminating” against marijuana users. Some are saying they should not be allowed to base employment decisions on whether a person tests positive for marijuana.
