Geraldo Rivera originally came out in support of Matt Lauer after Lauer was fired by NBC following a sexual assault allegation, and then he quickly apologized, realizing that supporting an alleged abuser probably wasn’t a good idea.
Turns out, Rivera is also being accused, and the woman accusing him is a powerhouse in Hollywood.

The video she posted is of an interview Midler had with Barbara Walters where the singer/actress described her experience:
“Geraldo and his producer came to do an interview with me in the 70s – the early 70s,” the actress begins.
This entire thing is getting out of hand now. It seems Hollywood is totally ready to burn itself to the ground. Maybe when the ashes settle, they can build something new and less sleazy.
