Some people can’t take a hint and never will learn. The worst are those who can’t captain their sinking ship and desperately try to take as many people down with them that they can. Lois Lerner is one of these people.
The Former IRS official is now calling for her personal testimony on her Tea Party targeting scandal to be withheld from the public eye. She cited ‘death threats’ and fears the well being of her family and deputy Holly Paz.
“Whenever Mss. Lerner and Paz have been in the media spotlight, they have faced death threats and harassment,” the documents stated. “Returning Mss. Lerner and Paz to the media spotlight places them at risk, regardless of what they actually said in those depositions.”
The documents also stated that: “Public exposure will put innocent bystanders, namely Mss. Lerner’s and Paz’s family members (including young children), at risk, too.” (Fox News)
Lois pointed fingers at Mark Meckler, President of Citizens for Self Governance, for fostering an environment of hate that allows death threats to foster.
Meckler responded to Lerner’s comments in a Fox News interview:
“The implication is really outrageous,” he said. “That what she said in that deposition about Tea Partiers is so bad that people will be outraged.”
“The American people have a right to know,” Meckler said.
Meckler is right, the American people deserve to know. Sleazeballs like Lois Lerner should not be able to hide from their actions.
