Trump Just Weighed In On Roy Moore, This KEY Sentence Sent Democrats In A FURY

“Look, the president believes these allegations are very troubling and should be taken seriously, and he believes the people of Alabama should make the decision on who their senator should be,” Sanders said.

That’s right folks. The President supports the power of the people to elect their State Senators and Representatives. The good people of Alabama should VOTE and ELECT whom they believe is best suited to represent them. Yes, we are One Nation, BUT, we are made up of individual States, each of which has been bestowed with powers of self-regulation. Donald Trump understands that the Federal Government is a limited entity. He believes in the rights of each State to execute the Democratic process in which this Republic was founded. Unfortunately, Democrats largely disagree and have vehemently rejected these ideas. Democrats, especially the elite would much rather that we all be controlled by one central entity and be FORCED to bow down and obey their agenda.

Those waiting for President Donald Trump to make a definitive statement of support or condemnation regarding sexual misconduct allegations against Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore shouldn’t hold their breath.

Trump didn’t address the media directly, but White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters during Thursday’s briefing that the president plans to let the democratic process play itself out.

“Look, the president believes these allegations are very troubling, and should be taken seriously, and he believes the people of Alabama should make the decision on who their senator should be,” Sanders said.

Sanders also said, however, that Trump supported the decision by the Republican National Convention to withdraw resources from Moore’s campaign, but did not elaborate further.

The only other comment from the White House about the sexual misconduct allegations against Moore came from a statement saying that Trump expected Moore to “do the right thing and step aside” if the allegations are true.

Thursday, Sanders affirmed that Trump still held that position. There is no indication that Trump will personally comment further on the issue.

“It’s actually my job to come out here and answer questions on his behalf,” Sanders said.

News of the allegations against Moore broke while Trump was in Asia.

Trump has appeared supportive of Moore since the former Alabama Chief Justice won the Republican primary, despite the fact that Trump initially endorsed Moore’s opponent, Sen. Luther Strange.

“Sounds like a really great guy who ran a fantastic race,” Trump tweeted of Moore on Sept. 27, after his primary victory. “He will help to #MAGA!”
