President Donald Trump signaled support for singer Joy Villa, who expressed interest in running for Congress in a Fox News interview Friday morning.
“Good luck to Joy Villa on her decision to enter the wonderful world of politics,” he wrote on Twitter. “She has many fans!”
Villa appeared on Fox & Friends declaring that she wanted to run for Congress as a Republican.
“It’s time we have strong women who step up, run, win, and support the president,” she said, signaling interest in running for Congress in California and New York:
