The Trumps are trying hard to make sure their 11-year-old son Barron has a normal childhood like any other kid. He started school at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Maryland last month, and now he’s signed up for a local soccer team!
Barron was added to pro-soccer team DC United’s U-12 academy team. His first game was Saturday, September 23.
Barron was quietly added to the team earlier in September. One Twitter user spotted his name on the team’s roster:
Guys, @travismclark just txted me and this is not a joke: Barron Trump is playing at RFK tomorrow. No, really. Seriously. Not kidding. #DCU pic.twitter.com/RpFBf9INRs

Barron will be playing as a midfielder.
The youngest of President Trump’s children is a known soccer fan, being spotted in soccer gear while hanging out with his parents earlier this year:
It’s great that Barron gets to be a normal kid- participating in sports and making new friends.
