China CONCEDES To Trump, Agrees To Do Unthinkable

China made an unexpected and unprecedented move against North Korea this morning when Chinese Officials agreed to carry out United Nations sanctions that were imposed on North Kore earlier this month.

They have made this major announcement amid North Korea’s progressively more threatening rhetoric and North Korean missile program.

However, that isn’t the only the only thing. President Trump was on his way to Washington this morning to order an investigation into China’s trade practice. This proves Trump could lead the United States to impose their own sanctions on Bejing.

President Trump has sought help from China because they have the capability to apply massive financial pressure on North Korea if they wanted to. However, in the recent months, he has expected a lot less help from China, which is what led him to the trade probe. He was highly critical of China during the election but softened his tone when reaching the White House.

This morning, Trump tweeted he was on his way to Washington to work on trade.

Right after Trump was ready to announce his trade probe on China, China’s Commerce Ministry on Monday has officially announced that all imports of coal, iron ore, lead concentrates and ore, lead and seafood from North Korea would be banned, according to Fox News.

U.S. Ambassador to the U.N., Nikki Haley, called it “the single largest economic sanctions passage” against Pyongyang.

However, she went on to give a warning to other council members stating, “We should not fool ourselves into thinking we have solved the problem, not even close.”

Clearly, while sanctions are not enough to take down North Korea, it is a huge step in the right direction especially for China and the United States.
