Reince Priebus had made himself a thorn in President Trump’s side, but there’s something far deeper to his removal as White House chief-of-staff.
Trump has no problem firing people who aren’t getting the job done. But he’s far more calculating that most people give him credit for.
Rarely will Trump make a major move purely out of spite. That’s because, even when he’s angry, as a businessman Trump is always looking to the bottom line.
And there’s a much more important bottom line to this story than simply booting Priebus for leaking sensitive details to the press.
Via Biz Pac Review:
While the liberal media is gleefully foaming at the mouth slamming the Trump White House as being in “chaos,” Fox News’ Dana Perino thinks there’s a method to the madness.
“I think that this was all set up for a few weeks because the president has been so upset about Jeff Sessions and his recusal in the Russia investigation,” Perino said on The Five. “The Republicans and conservatives that came to Jeff Sessions’ defense this week all said, ‘But he’s doing the best on the issue we care about most, and that is immigration.’”
Perino continued: “Well, where can Jeff Sessions do even more on immigration? As the Secretary of Homeland Security. So I think what they’re going to try to do is move Sessions over to DHS, and then how can conservatives complain? And then you have a new AG … who can fire Robert Mueller.”
Dana Perino’s co-hosts on The Five were so struck by the mind-blowing logic behind the strategy that they ooohed and aaaahed. An impressed Jesse Watters remarked: “So he’s playing chess and everyone else is playing checkers.”
A number of experts have previously noted that Trump is, contrary to liberal allegations, a bonafide genius.
We can now see that genius in action.
