One thing is certain – as President Trump takes the fight to our enemies in the Middle East and moves to protect our own borders, jihadists will also try to up the threat against us.

It may not be entirely obvious, since the mainstream media fails to report on the numerous low-level attacks being carried out, but if we don’t want that kind of violence to become a way of life, we need to WIN.

On Wednesday, a vehicle left the road in downtown Pittsburgh and slammed into pedestrians.

Five people were taken to the hospital as the result of what might have initially appeared as a road accident.

But authorities say they are not ruling out terrorism. And for good reason.

The jihadist elements already in our country are being encouraged to use vehicles as weapons.

A jihadist magazine called Rumiyah recently ran a feature titled “Just Terror Tactics” that extolled the values of vehicular terrorism.

“Though being an essential part of modern life, very few actually comprehend the deadly and destructive capability of the motor vehicle and its capacity of reaping large numbers of casualties if used in a premeditated manner. Vehicles are like knives, as they are extremely easy to acquire.”

Indeed, vehicular terror has already become the norm in places like Israel, where security forces have routinely managed to thwart more traditional tactics like suicide bombings.

Nor is the Pittsburgh incident, if indeed it was an act of terrorism, by any means isolated.

Jihad Watch reports that the FBI is currently investigating no fewer than 1,000 suspected terror plots in all 50 states.

Days after Charlotte-area ISIS sympathizer Justin Sullivan was sentenced to life for planning mass murder in support of the Islamic State terror group, a North Carolina-based terrorism expert says the FBI is investigating about 1,000 ISIS-related threats in all 50 states.

U.S. Attorney Jill Rose of Charlotte has confirmed that suspected ISIS sympathizers are being investigated in North Carolina while not disclosing the number, a ‘domestic-terrorism expert’ told The Charlotte Observer that the state probes are among some 1,000 active FBI investigations.

After Sullivan’s conviction this week, Keri Farley, the FBI’s assistant special agent in charge of North Carolina, was quoted as saying that while Sullivan’s arrest saved lives, ‘homegrown violent extremists’ are becoming more difficult to deal with.
