Hillary Clinton will seemingly do just about anything to reclaim the spotlight.
She already had the spotlight during a 95-second recorded video message to the Women in Film Crystal Award. But that wasn’t enough.
Hillary needed the nation to sit up and take notice of her.
So she made the kind of outlandish remark that only Hillary Clinton would think is appropriate of someone who wants to be our nation’s leader.
She compared herself to Wonder Woman.
Despite admitting to not having seen the new blockbuster super hero flick, Clinton said she could totally relate to the titular character.
“Now I haven’t seen Wonder Woman yet, but I’m going to… something tells me that a movie about a strong, powerful woman fighting to save the world from a massive international disaster is right up my alley.”
Good lord. Is this woman for real?
One party that was wholly unimpressed by Hillary’s stunt was Warner Brothers, which produced “Wonder Woman.”
A rep for the company told Heatstreet:
“It’s great that Hillary Clinton will see the movie but her remarks aren’t particularly helpful and our publicity team certainly won’t be spreading them about. Wonder Woman doesn’t need Hillary Clinton’s endorsement…“
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is what you call a burn.
