I don’t like to talk about a bonafide war hero as a traitor, but, well, Sen. John McCain has pretty much betrayed the Republican Party, if not the American voter.
Already for months, McCain has played his role as part of the Democrat-led offensive against President Trump, the man WE ELECTED AS PRESIDENT.
His latest statement completes McCain’s treason:
According to the Guardian, McCain was “visibly irked” when asked about comments Trump made last week in the wake of the terrorist attack in London, in which he criticized London Mayor Sadiq Khan for his response to the atrocity.
“What do you think the message is? The message is that America doesn’t want to lead,” McCain said. “They are not sure of American leadership, whether it be in Siberia or whether it be in Antarctica.”
Then, when asked if America’s international standing was better under Obama, McCain reportedly responded: “As far as American leadership is concerned, yes.”
McCain honestly needs to get out more. Because Barack Obama made America a laughing stock as far as global leadership went.
And now that Trump’s in office, foreign powers seem to suddenly be falling back in line.
Seems McCain might be confused about what constitutes real “leadership.”
