Finally, the Senate is figuring out that the Democrats were not only spying on Donald Trump… they were conspiring to RUIN him during his campaign!
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) sent a letter to FBI Director James Comey, asking for records of agreements the agency had with Christopher Steele — a man who wrote a heinous memo for Trump’s political enemies detailing ties to Russia. A man who Hillary Clinton hired. (via The Hill)
After Steele created this memo, the mainstream media published this information with the unverified allegations, which the White House denied, of course.
In February, it was discovered that the FBI had an agreement with Steele. It was arranged so Steele could continue his investigation into Donald Trump, on behalf of the FBI, without implicating them in their crimes.
Trump called this dossier, which was released by the liberal leftist media, “fake news” put against him by his opponents. The FBI agreement with Steele shows that they found his information credible, and something that should be looked into.
Though, by “credible” I assume they mean “complete nonsense but we’re going to run with it anyway.” Grassley is now demanding that the FBI tell us why they used the British spy, whose extreme allegations have set some Americans against Trump and his Cabinet.
“The idea that the FBI and associates of the Clinton campaign would pay Mr. Steele to investigate the Republican nominee for President in the run-up to the election raises further questions about the FBI’s independence from politics, as well as the Obama administration’s use of law enforcement and intelligence agencies for political ends,” Grassley stated in the letter.
He continued on in the letter to say that it is troubling that the FBI would agree to this arrangement, if it is indeed true.
It’s questionable, given that in January of this year, former Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, James Clapper, said this about the document: “the [intelligence community] has not made any judgment that the information in this document is reliable, and we did not rely upon it in any way for our conclusions.”
This letter is requesting for all of the records pertaining to Steele’s investigation, the agreement between Steele and the FBI, as well as the FBI policies for using investigators who are not in the FBI itself be released. Grassley also wants to know if the FBI relied on the information Steele gave while seeking warrants.
The FBI has covered Hillary Clinton’s back before. During her email scandal hearings in the House Oversight Committee, they said not once, but twice, that Clinton was not guilty of any crimes. Whereas we all know that she is as guilty as sin.
This is why Donald Trump is calling for a drain of the swamp as a whole — because it wasn’t just Obama’s administration that was corrupt. The FBI, under the weak leadership of James Comey, continually lied for and conspired with the Democrats to try to make sure Trump lost the election. The American people deserve the truth!
