‘SNL’ Is Actually Funny Again! Hilarious Spoof Rips on Hillary Supporters Watching Election Results

Share this:

In a funny skit featuring comedians Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock playing two skeptical black guys in the room, NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” spoofed on a group of over-confident Democrats as they watched the elections results come in Tuesday night.

As the Hillary Clinton supporters joke about Donald Trump already lining up lawyers to fight the results and revel in the historic implications of the first woman president in America, the numbers start rolling in.

Chappelle cautions them not to get too far ahead of themselves and sure enough, the grim results slowly take shape.

When it eventually dawns on the Clinton supporters that Trump will win, the character played by Cecily Strong determines that “America is racist” — Chappelle and Rock feign surprise at this conclusion.

The underlying liberal message, of course, is that only because Americans are “racist” could Trump have prevailed.

“Why aren’t people turning out for Hillary the way they did for Barack Obama?” the character played by comedian Aidy Bryant asked.

“Maybe because you’re replacing a charismatic 40-year-old black guy with a 70-year-old white woman,” Rock’s character replied.

Enjoy a healthy portion of schadenfreude as you watch the clip below:
