Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton was just outed by one person who could bring her campaign to an end. In a Fox News interview on Thursday, Republican Congressman Michael McCaul, Chair of the House Homeland Security Committee, did not mince words.
McCaul called Clinton’s actions “treason.”
Fox News host and chief political anchor Bret Baier cited separate sources within the FBI who stated that Clinton’s illegal private server had been hacked by five different foreign agencies and classified information vital to U.S. interests taken.
When questioned about the far-reaching implications of Clinton’s actions, which Democrats across the board are working around the clock to minimize, McCaul was frightening in his frank assessment. You can watch the video here:
“My concern is that Hillary Clinton had special access to seven different programs on these devices. Those are the most classified, sensitive secrets in the federal government, many of them covert operations,” McCaul said.
“She took those secrets overseas against the State Department’s wishes. Now we find out, as James Comey told me previously, that foreign nations likely got into her private server,” he added.
Fox News also stated that the FBI had concluded that President Barack Obama communicated with Clinton on the private server using a code name, a move designed to thwart the Freedom of Information Act requests that they knew their illegal actions would invite.
“This is why you have security protocols — to protect classified information,” said McCaul. “She exposed it to our enemies, and now our adversaries have this very sensitive information.”
“It jeopardizes not only our national security at home, but our men and women serving overseas. This is, in my opinion, treason.”
Hillary Clinton would be the first president in history to enter office under the likely threat of impeachment, indictment and a prison sentence. It’s shameful, and we can’t let it happen.
