The SHOCKING Comments Ben Carson Made About Trump, Hillary

Neurosurgeon and former Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson is known for his support of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, but he just said something that has Trump supporters up in arms.

Carson told The Daily Beast that he thinks Trump should stop calling Hillary Clinton a racist.

“I don’t generally get into the name-calling thing,” Carson said. “I kind of left that behind in the third grade. I certainly don’t encourage it because the issues that we’re facing are incredibly important — for us and for the future generations.”

“That’s what people do who don’t have anything to talk about,” Carson continued.

Trump is infamously known for his brutal honesty, especially when he talks about Clinton. Most recently, he called Hillary Clinton a bigot.

“She is a bigot,” Trump told CNN. “She is selling (African-Americans) down the tubes because she’s not doing anything for those communities. She talks a good game. But she doesn’t do anything.”

But Carson did admit that the African-American vote is crucial in the coming election. He criticized both the Republican and Democrat Party for their lack of focus on the minority community.

“As you know, the Republican Party has been relatively missing in action when it comes to reaching out to minority communities in recent decades,” Carson said. “I think particularly in the African-American community, a large number of people recognize that the Democrats have not done diddly-squat for them. But they don’t feel that they have any other place to go.”

Carson still supports Trump for president. But maybe he shouldn’t have said anything about Trump’s campaign strategy.
