Donald Trump will have a negative effect on the country long after his time in the political spotlight is over, an executive who worked with him at NBC argues.

Bob Greenblatt — the chairman of NBC Entertainment since 2011 who was there during Trump’s last four seasons as the host of “The Apprentice” — said the Republican nominee is “toxic.”
“The sad state of affairs thanks to a pompous businessman turned reality TV star (whose show consistently ran LAST in its time period, by the way) who thinks speaking his mind is refreshing,” Greenblatt wrote on his private Facebook page this week. “It’s actually corrosive and toxic because his ‘mind’ is so demented.”

“His effect will unfortunately linger long after he’s been told to get off the stage.”
