Donald Trump considered revoking The New York Times‘ press credentials at his rally Saturday evening in Fairfield, Connecticut.

Trump said that the Times is failing and is “going to be out of business soon.”

“Maybe we’ll start thinking about taking their press credentials away from them,” Trump said of the Times. “When they write dishonest stories, we should be a little bit tough.”

“Real garbage. They’re garbage. It’s a garbage paper,” Trump added.

“I’m no fan of the Washington Post, either. I banned them about two months ago,” Trump said.

“I’m not running against Crooked Hillary. I’m running against the Crooked Media. True. True. We’re together. We have something going on that is unbelievable.”

“Oh, look, the cameras are turned! Look! Wow! That’s great. Those cameras never, ever turn unless there’s a protester,” Trump taunted. “What a bunch.”

“CNN is disgusting. By the way, their ratings are going down …,” Trump said. “It’s a constant hit on Trump. People are saying, no matter how good it is they make it a hit.”

“Talking about garbage, you have a governor in this state who’s done a very poor job,” Trump said, pivoting to Clinton-supporting governor Dan Malloy.

“Bad governor. You got a bad governor. Any governor that would lose General Electric hasn’t done his job. Bad governor,” he said.

Trump featured a Make-A-Wish Foundation kid on stage who implored the crowd to vote for Trump to make America Great Again. The crowd loved him.

Trump doubled down on his claim that Barack Obama is the founder of ISIS and also the terrorist group’s Most Valuable Player.

“She had no power in the Senate,” Trump said of Hillary Clinton. “The Secret Service agent said she is basically crazy.”

“She is going to raise your taxes, she is going to raise your regulations for your businesses which is going to put everybody out of work.”
