About halfway through his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention this Thursday evening, GOP nominee Donald Trump emphatically promised to do what President Barack Obama has never done and Democrat front-runner Hillary Clinton will never do.
“The most important difference between our plan and that of our opponents, is that our plan will put America First,” he said, according to Politico. “Americanism, not globalism, will be our credo.”
“As long as we are led by politicians who will not put America First, then we can be assured that other nations will not treat America with respect,” he continued. “This will all change in 2017.”

In detailing how he plans to put “America first,” the billionaire candidate then pointed to “safe neighborhoods, secure borders, and protection from terrorism,” adding, “There can be no prosperity without law and order.”
Law and order — two words that mean little to both our ignoble president and longtime criminal mastermindHillary Clinton.
Trump warned, however, that many among “big business” and the “elite media” have been trying to circumvent his potential presidency specifically because they want the same rigged system to remain in place — regardless of the damage it has wrought on the American people.
“My message is that things have to change — and they have to change right now,” the GOP nominee boldly proclaimed. “Every day I wake up determined to deliver for the people I have met all across this nation that have been neglected, ignored, and abandoned.”
People like laid-off factory workers, victims of radical Islamic terrorism and the still-living family members of innocent men, women and children murdered by illegal immigrants who ought never to have been in the country in the first place.
To Americans like these, Donald Trump has a message, and that message is that the change they desire to see in their country is only a vote away.
