During Indiana Gov. Mike Pence’s first interview as presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump’s running mate this Friday evening, he pithily spelled out exactly why Democrat front-runner Hillary Clinton does not deserve to be president.
“Hillary Clinton — whether it be the fact that she mishandled classified information, whether it be the fact that she left Americans in harm’s way in Benghazi, where four Americans died, and she lied about the reasons for it happening — I think there is one issue after another where Hillary Clinton is simply disqualified to be president of the United States,” he told Fox News host Sean Hannity.
The governor also laid out why, on the other hand, his partner does deserve the presidency.
“The issues in this election couldn’t be more important, and the choice couldn’t be more clear,” he explained. “Donald Trump is offering a vision for America and an agenda for America that will restore American strength at home and abroad.”
Specifically, Trump has proposed sensible policies that would put “America first” on the international stage, meaning the needs and concerns of the American people would be prioritized over those of foreigners, refugees or even our allies.
Clinton, on the other hand, hosts an opposite vision — one where our resources would be extended to help illegal immigrants, Syrian refugees and pretty much anyone else who wants a freebie paid for by the American people.
In short, whereas Trump hopes to steer America in new and much wiser direction, Clinton wants to double down on President Barack Obama’s failed policies.
Her blistering incompetence, her lifelong corruption and her endless lies make her better suited to be a used car salesman than the leader of the free world.
