Despite also desiring his ouster, Democrats and liberals are spewing venom at President Trump for firing failed FBI Director James Comey.
As such, they were REALLY looking forward to Comey’s first public statement after getting the boot.
Surely, he’d say something really damning, or at least really critical of Trump.
And so it was with GREAT disappointment that lefties read of the letter Comey sent to FBI agents and friends after being dismissed.
As cited by The Hill, Comey wrote:
“I have long believed that a President can fire an FBI director for any reason, or for no reason at all. I’m not going to spend time on the decision or the way it was executed. I hope you won’t either. It is done, and I will be fine, although I will miss you and the mission deeply.”
