If there was any doubt about how vile and savage Islamic State group thugs are, the following should remove any doubt.
Recent video footage showed three Iraqi freedom fighters rescuing a puppy to which the Islamic State group had reportedly strapped a suicide vest.
The bomb, made from four plastic bottles likely filled with shrapnel, was connected with electrical wires and designed to kill or maim up to four people, the rebels told the U.K. Metro.
Three rebels in the video explained that jihadis apparently wanted the dog to enter rival territory, where the bomb would have been detonated by remote control. Thankfully, the rebels were able to defuse the bomb and save the puppy.
“ISIS has just sent an innocent animal with explosives wrapped around it to our position to try and blow our troops up,” a man in a video said, in a translation provided by the U.K. Daily Express.
The man added that the dog was being sent to the Baghdad zoo for “a nice break from the war zone and well away from ISIS fighters trying to blow animals up for their sick war.”
The sickening video was apparently uploaded by fighters with the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units, which is a state-sponsored group of militia brought to battle jihadis in Iraq, according to the Express.
The jihadists are apparently desperate and resorting to using puppies to spread their hate.
The strategy is just another sick example of the gruesome tactics Islamic State group thugs will use to carry out their mission of hate. They are nothing but a group of savages who must be stopped now.
