Trump’s Popularity Has SKYROCKETED Since Winning Election

President-elect Donald Trump’s popularity has skyrocketed after winning the 2016 election.

A Politico/Morning Consult poll released Monday finds that 46 percent of registered voters have a favorable view of the Trump, while 46 percent view him negatively.

Prior to the election, Trump’s favorability was at 37 percent, while his unfavorability rating was at 61 percent.

The overall swing was 24 points.

“Trump’s favorability among voters has reached new highs since he became president-elect,” said Morning Consult pollster Kyle Dropp.

“This honeymoon phase in common for new presidents. For example, Obama saw about a 20 point swing in his favor following the 2008 election,” he added.

President Obama is viewed favorably by 54 percent of voters.
